Peter’s Rest Heart of Central Wagga

Cosy, pet-friendly, relaxing. Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s Rest in Wagga Wagga. The location was fantastic, offering a peaceful setting while still being conveniently close to everything we needed during our visit. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the area. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything required to prepare meals, making it easy to feel at home throughout our stay. The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained, which was evident from the moment we arrived. We particularly appreciated the heated bathroom floors, a thoughtful touch that added an extra level of comfort, especially on cooler mornings. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to bring our fur baby with us. Finding quality pet friendly accommodation can be difficult, so it was wonderful to have our dog included in our holiday and feel so welcome. The wood fireplace created a warm and inviting atmosphere inside, making the home feel cosy and comfortable during the cooler evenings. We also loved spending time around the fire pit in the backyard. It was the perfect place to relax under the stars and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overall, Peter’s Rest combines comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, pet friendly accommodation, and a fantastic location. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wagga Wagga.

Great location Positive: Wonderful location and a lovely home with a great covered outdoor area Negative: Communication - there was differing information and codes/passwords between the welcome text, the web check-in site and a folder in the house. Fortunately the host was very helpful and responsive.

great location Positive: great location with everything we needed . Propert lynwas cery clean and tidy. unfortunately my only complaint was the sofa bed which incredibly uncomfortable but we managed by sharing the available beds. Negative: sofa bed

A great stay overall: comfortable, well‑cooled rooms and a perfect location for walking everywhere. Positive: There’s plenty of two‑hour parking out the front, which made it easy to pull up and unload. After that, we unlocked the back shed and were able to park our car there for the entire stay. We loved being able to walk to the shops, the pub for dinner, and Wagga Beach... we didn’t need the car at all. The air‑conditioning and ceiling fans in all three bedrooms and the front living room were excellent. Negative: The bed was comfortable, so this won’t affect most guests. For those travelling with a baby, though, I’d suggest choosing one of the back bedrooms. The front bedroom has an older spring mattress that can make sudden banging noises and slopes slightly toward the middle, which made it a bit tricky for us. Otherwise, it would have been perfectly fine.
